Our Beefalo Herd

At Flight Path Farms, we have a relatively small herd of Beefalo. We normally keep around 45 total animals on the farm at any given time. We are primarily a cow-calf operation and maintain a breeding herd of 20 to 25 breeding cows and heifers. This allows us to have about 20 new calves each year to create replacement heifers or to sell as both breeding stock or meat.

Our herd currently has 44 animals.

We raise our Beefalo without the aid of any hormones, growth enhancers, steroids, or other supplements. We do feed free choice selenium salt.

Our animals are grass fed. We only feed natural pasture grasses and hay.
